University Health has expanded its pharmacy services and opened two accredited specialty pharmacies.
What Is a Specialty Pharmacy?
A specialty pharmacy provides services and medications for patients with rare or complex conditions. Specialty pharmacies keep certain medications in stock that you may not be able to find at a regular pharmacy.
We’ll always do our best to make sure you go home with the medication you need, regardless of your ability to pay. Refill a prescription.
Specialty Pharmacy Locations
University Health has two specialty pharmacy locations:
ACHC Accreditation
University Health specialty pharmacies are accredited by Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) for compliance with a comprehensive set of national standards. URAC Accreditation
University Health's specialty pharmacy has earned URAC accreditation. URAC promotes health care quality by setting high standards for clinical practice, consumer protections, performance measurement, operations infrastructure and risk management.

How We Support You
Our pharmacy provides language assistance to patients whose primary language is not English. We also provide interpretation services to those who are visually impaired, deaf or hard of hearing.
Financial Assistance
We are here to make your life easier. If you need help affording your specialty medication(s), our pharmacy team can help you find alternative payment methods and discount programs.
All patients who use our facilities and physicians, we have a medication savings program. In some cases, we may be able to reduce or waive your copay, even if you have commercial insurance.
