Mayah's Grateful Patient Story
A survivor of the Uvalde Robb Elementary shooting, 10-year-old Mayah is not only courageous and resilient, she is generous.
Post-hospitalization, she held a cupcake and cookie sale. With the funds raised, she made goody baskets for other children recovering from major injuries and illnesses at University Health—gifting a little something special to uplift their spirits during their hospital stays.
