Cystadenocarcinoma

Cystadenocarcinoma
These lesions occur only inside the liver, not in bile ducts, and arise from a malignant change in a benign cystadenoma. Females are more at risk than males, and the lesions usually occur after the third decade of life. The best therapy is surgical resection and can be curative if done prior to metastatic disease.
