Urinary gynecological conditions, such as urinary incontinence and pelvic floor relaxation, are often solvable problems. We can help find the cause of the problem and determine the appropriate treatment.
- Urinary incontinence: This condition usually has symptoms of stress incontinence (when coughing, sneezing or laughing causes urine to leak from the bladder) or urge incontinence (when the urge to urinate is so strong and sudden that it’s difficult to get to a bathroom in time). Sometimes both symptoms are present.
- Pelvic floor relaxation: This problem can include a uterine prolapse or another pelvic organ prolapse. It occurs when the pelvic structures are not fully supported because of weakening of the surrounding muscles. This may feel like an abnormal bulge in the pelvic region, often palpable internally.
