Treatments We Offer

We offer expert GI care when you are in the hospital, as well as in a number of convenient outpatient clinics and procedure centers. Our advanced treatments include:

• Intensive treatment for hepatitis C in our outpatient Hepatology Clinic, including close coordination with our transplant specialists and access to clinical trials through our relationship with the Texas Liver Institute
• Ostomy procedures, such as colostomies, ileostomies and urostomies
• Esophageal procedures, such as balloon pneumatic dilation for achalasia, dilation of strictures and banding of varies
• Endoscopy and advanced interventional endoscopy to diagnose and treat many gastrointestinal problems 

We consult with our colleagues in other specialties and refer you to them when it’s appropriate. These include surgery, transplant and ear, nose and throat specialists.
