About
“Being a physician is the ultimate opportunity to help others. As a surgeon, I can have an immediate positive impact on the care of patients, and believe in doing only what is important and necessary to achieve that goal.”
I’m a urologist with University Health, where I focus on delivering high-quality, efficient care that improves patients’ lives.
I was inspired to pursue medicine by the opportunity to make a real and lasting difference in people’s health. Whether it’s through long-term care or a single procedure, I believe in doing what’s necessary —and only what’s necessary — for the best possible outcome.
Philosophy of Care
I believe in tailoring care to each individual, using the most effective techniques while minimizing unnecessary interventions.
Favorite Parts of Medicine
Forming long-term relationships with my patients
Improving quality of life through both medical and surgical care
Clinical Interests
I have a strong clinical interest in TURP (Transurethral Resection of the Prostate). While many urologists routinely admit patients and use continuous bladder irrigation, I’ve had only one or two isolated cases requiring this approach over the past six years.
I also specialize in ureteroscopy and laser lithotripsy, with a focus on minimizing radiation exposure.
Hobbies
In my free time, I enjoy traveling, hiking and reading.
