About
I am an Associate Professor for the Department of Pediatrics and the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at UT Health San Antonio. I am also the director of Pediatric Inflammatory Bowel Disease and the Co-Director of Digestive Health and Nutrition for the CIRCLE Curriculum Preclinical Module.
I graduated from Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2009. Following my graduation, I completed a pediatrics residency at UT Health San Antonio in 2012. In 2015, I received my master’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology from Vanderbilt University while also completing a Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital.
