About
I am an Adjunct Associate Professor at UT Health San Antonio and an Associate Professor at Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin. I completed medical school at the United Medical and Dental Schools of Guy’s and St. Thomas Hospitals in London. I completed my Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, England, and St. Mary’s Hospital in London.
After my residency, I received my PhD in Genetics from Imperial College in London. I then completed a second residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and completed a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) at the University of Pennsylvania.
After my fellowship, I was recruited to be a faculty member of the REI division at Yale School of Medicine, where I was appointed as one of the prestigious NIH WRHR scholars to pursue research focusing on ovarian biology. I also served as the Director of the Yale Recurrent Pregnancy Loss program.
Currently, I care for patients through a unique collaboration between the Dell School of Medicine’s clinical program at UT-Austin and UT San Antonio’s Fertility Clinic.
My publications have appeared in high-impact journals, and I have received numerous awards on both the national and international platform. My work has been supported by several grants through agencies such as NIH, ASRM and the Medical Research Council.
Research Interests:
My special interests are in infertility and recurrent pregnancy loss. I also have an active translational research program to uncover new causes of recurrent pregnancy loss.
