Career Highlights

Currently, I serve as the director of the pulmonary hypertension program. Previously, I was the director of medicine thoracic outpatient services at University Health and the associate program director for the internal medicine residency program at UT Health San Antonio, where I led the clinician educator track.

I was inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians in 2022 and was part of the UTSA College of Business Executive Development Program for Emerging Health Leaders 2022-2023 cohort. I am triple board-certified in internal medicine, pulmonary diseases and critical care medicine.
