Education
I’m a cardiologist with University Medicine Associates at University Health. I earned my medical degree at the Universidad de Monterrey. I went on to complete my residency at Mass General Brigham Salem Hospital in Salem, Massachusetts, and my fellowship at UT Health San Antonio.
Inspiration
I had always dreamed about becoming a doctor since I was a little kid. In high school, I went on a medical mission trip in the middle of the mountains in México and I watched medical students and resident physicians provide care to those most in need. That was the moment that reaffirmed my childhood dream of becoming a doctor.
Philosophy of Care

My favorite thing about practicing medicine is connecting with people and helping them improve their health and quality of life when they are at their most vulnerable.
