Neurosurgery
Dr. Izabela Tarasiewicz is a pediatric neurosurgeon at University Hospital and an associate professor of pediatric neurosurgery at UT Health San Antonio.
Dr. Tarasiewicz has an important role in multidisciplinary clinics such as tethered cord/spina bifida clinic, spasticity clinic and the neuro-oncology clinic. She is the director of the Craniofacial Clinic and co-director of the craniosynostosis team at University Health.
Care Coordination
Claudia Galaviz, BSN, RN, CPN, is the pediatric craniofacial coordinator at the Neurosurgery Clinic. She’ll be your first point of contact when your child starts receiving care with us.
Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
The facial plastic and reconstructive surgery team consists of Dr. Christian Stallworth and Dr. Richard Thomson.
Dr. Christian Stallworth is the director of the cleft lip and palate treatment team at University Health. He is a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon at University Health.
Dr. Thomson is a pediatric plastic surgeon with international fellowship training in pediatric plastic surgery, craniofacial surgery, and cleft lip and palate surgery.
Otolaryngology
Dr. Erica Sher is an assistant professor in the department of otolaryngology at UT Health San Antonio and specializes in pediatric otolaryngology at University Health.
Dr. Nadine Haykal is a pediatric otolaryngologist at University Health and an assistant professor with the department of otolaryngology at UT Health San Antonio.
Dr. Marisa Earley is a pediatric otolaryngologist at University Health and the residency director with the department of otolaryngology at UT Health San Antonio.
Speech Therapy
Cristina Hernandez is a pediatric speech pathologist at University Children’s Health.
